Wildlife Pond

A pond was first installed in the orchard in 2017 as a home for the newts displaced during the building of the studio. It was substantially enlarged and improved in 2021, and now provides a sumptuous, visual bridge between the orchard and the wider landscape beyond.

The pond edges are planted up with wild flowers to mix softly with the reeds and other marginals.
